Yankuang Cathay Coal Chemicals CO., Ltd. (YCCC), a joint venture established by Yankuang Group Company Limited and American Cathay Coal Chem Holdings Limited for the purpose of readjusting industrial structure, is a large-siaed high-tech coal chemical enterprise constructed as Shandong provincial key project and the national coal chemical demonstration plant for technological innovation as well. lt adopts IGCC poly–generation process, includes 2 key research subjects listed in the national programme of “863” and several proprietary intellectual property rights. So far the total investment is RMB5 billion, and the planned follow-up investment will exceed RMB21 billion.The production capacity is 600,000t/a acetic acid,300,000t/a methanol, 100,000t/a acetic ether and 80MW power generation with sales value RMB3.2 billion and profit tax RMB1.2 billion per year.

   YCCC is located in Zaozhuang city Shandong province, where is the interactive region between Bohai economic rim and Yangtze delta economic circle. It is adjacent to Qingdao, Rizhao and Lianyungang harbor. Jinpu Railway, Beijing-Shanghai Express Railway and Beijing-Fuzhou Expressway run through the enterprise area from left or right.
